Fourteen local and foreign companies are interested in making investments for the civil servant housing project which will be implemented on 183 acres of land at the corner of Shweli street and Myanandar Street in Dagon Myo Thit Township, Yangon Region.
Yangon Regional Government has invited an Expression of Interest to implement the project under a Public Private Partnership because they are looking for investors for the project.
Among the fourteen companies who have shown interest, there are two foreign companies from Malaysia and Taiwan and two joint ventures—Singapore-Myanmar and China-Myanmar. The rest are local companies and the regional government will invite tender applications from them.
Now, it is selling tender forms and architectural master plan at K100,000 for tender applicants.
The investors must submit the applications by February 9, 2019, according to the press release from the regional government.
