Lotus Hill starts new villa sale

Myanmar real estate news Developer Serge Pun & Associates opened sales for its new luxury development, Lotus Hill, at the Pun Hlaing Estate in Hlaing Tharyar township on June 25.

Built over 9 acres, it will comprise 71 luxury triplex units, said U Lynn Tun Ko, associate director of the estate.

Sales are still open for the other three Lotus-branded developments: 30 Lotus Place Villas, 12 Lotus Canal View Villas and 18 Lotus Terrace Apartments, launched in 2014.

“Lotus Hill Villas stands on land 2 metres higher than the other Lotus housing, so we called it Lotus Hill,” he said.

Lotus Hill Villas was designed by Yoma Strategic Company. Two model villas have been completed, and construction will start next month for the remainder, to be finished over the next two years, said U Lynn Tun Ko. The 71 villas will range in size from 1978 to 4629 square feet.

Cyrus Pun, head of real estate at Yoma Strategic, said, “This project will bring the quality and luxury that Pun Hlaing Estate is known for, with fair and competitive pricing. Each of these units is a triplex, perfectly situated for the young family, or for residents wanting a sleek, modern space. Together with the Pun Hlaing international school, sport fields and restaurants, Pun Hlaing Estate remains one of Yangon’s premier housing establishments.”

Architect Daniel West said, “We designed this collection of homes to reflect the time-honoured tradition of modern design, providing ample natural daylight through full-height glazing and framed views to the picturesque landscape beyond.”

Pun Hlaing Estate housing began on 652 acres in Hlaing Tharyar township in 1997.
